Jesús Navas, Jules Koundé and Erik Lamela have addressed the media after the defeat against Granada CF. The three Sevilla players have agreed that the defeat at the Nuevo Los Cármenes leaves a bitter taste in the mouth and the captain was the first to recognise this. "They have started better and with more intensity and they have scored the goal. In the second half we have tried with many chances but it was not to be. We have to go all out from the first minute." The captain said that "All games are difficult we knew that it was going to be a hard game and it was not to be. The team has to continue, to go all out and to thank the fans for having supported us is this away game."

For Koundé he spoke about the lack of skill of the opponent on Sunday. "In the first half we were not able to overcome the pressure of Granada, we did not have enough quality and they scored with the only chances of the game that they had. We have several and we've come up short, we have not converted them. At the same time the French central defender that there won't be any worry despite the defeat. "Every game is different. We conceded the goal and Granada defended well together, despite which we had chances to win the game but we didn't take them. It's time to continue work, we haven't played well in the first half despite being better and Granada not getting it. We have to be more clinical, work more but we don't need to worry. We are going and we will continue forward. It was a key match knowing that those teams above us had lost and we wanted to take a step forward but now it's time to rest and to return stronger."

"Today we were defeated but the season is long and we are still there"

To finish, Lamela spoke about the setback that the result leaves around the changing room. "The changing rooms is angry, we had a great opportunity to win and to be one of the leaders of LaLiga but the idea is to take strength and this comes from experience. We created lots of chances on goal in the second half and we have to be strong and to continue forward." On a personal note, he was also unsatisfied by not having reached expectations despite once again starting the game from the beginning. "The latest opportunity, even if we couldn't win developing individually is what I had in mind. Today we tasted defeat but the season is long and we are still there. Now the wait is a bit longer and we will try to train well to arrive at the best possible level for the next game."
