Sevilla FC-CA Osasuna, in the 23rd match week of LaLiga Santander, which will be played at the Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán, kick off is 21:00.

Standings

Sevilla FC has risen to thirteenth in the table and the only side that could overtake them this week would be the winner of Celta Vigo-Real Valladolid. We find ourselves three points above the relegation zone. Osasuna sit in tenth position, five points above us, who could be overtaken by Girona today.

The last three matches between Sevilla FC-CA Osasuna

Osasuna has not won in Nervión since 2005/06, when they won 0-1 with a goal from Milosevic. Since then, they have lost eleven times and claimed just one draw in the league, which they did in the 2008/09 season after a goal from Pandiani cancelled out Jesús Navas' early strike.

With regard to the last three matches, goals from Diego Carlos and Ocampos led Sevilla to victory last season (2-0), whilst the season before we claimed a narrow victory secured through an Ocampos penalty. In the 2019/20 season, the last game with a crowd before the pandemic, Sevilla FC won 3-2 in an exciting game. A double from En-Nesyri and a goal from Ocampos was just enough to outdo our visitors, who score through Adridane and Roberto Torres.

Squad announcements

As we await to see Osasuna's squad list, Sampaoli has recalled Gudelj, Gueye and Lamela to the squad, who were absent in Eindhoven whilst Hormigo, Manu Bueno and Carlos Álvarez linked back up with the youth team as they won yesterday.

Officals

The match will be lead by a referee from the Committee of Las Palmas, José Luis Pulido Santana. He recently stepped up to referee in the first division, with his first game in LaLiga being the second match of this season, where Sevilla FC played Real Valladolid (1-1). This will therefore be his second time officiating Sevilla as well as Osasuna, who he reffed in their 1-1 draw with Girona in the eleventh match week. Xavier Estrada Fernández, from Catalonia, will be in charge of VAR.
