Sevilla FC are continuing strongly in LaLiga, both before and after lockdown. Monday's win over SD Eibar in Nervión leaves the side on 60 points with twelve more to play for. but this one meant more, as the side picked up another clean sheetas they are now on fourteen in the league this season

These numbers are similar to the ones obtained in two recent seasons, as the side kept fourteen in both 2014/2015 with Unai Emery and 2017/2018 under both Berrizo and Montella, but this time round, there's a clear difference. This Sevilla FC side still have time to improve their numbers, with four opportunities to do so in the next twelve days.

The Sevillista wall, close to equalling their record for shutouts

The Nervionenses have four matches remaining, and a clean sheet in all of them would equal the club's record in the 21st centurywhich was set in 2008/2009 with 18 clean sheets, almost half a league season. Andrés Palop and Javi Varas were between the sticks that season, two keepers who both have a special tie to the club, one as an academy graduate, and one who shone in some of the club's biggest nights since arriving from Valencia.

If there is one thing that is clear with that statistic, achieved on Monday night in Nervión, it is the commitment of all the squad to make Sevilla FC even more solid, from the bench upwards. All the players bring something to the table, even though Vaclík is the one who features the most in goal. Bono came off the bench at Getafe after Vaclík suffered an injury and could not play in the second half. And what else to say about Ocampos last night, with his late save showing the commitment of the squad as he denied Eibar goalkeeper Dmitrovic from close range.
