STANIS IDUMBO JOINS SEVILLA ATLÉTICO FROM AJAX

The Belgium U-19 international signs until June 2028

Sevilla Atlético have strengthened ahead of the second half of the season with the signing of Belgian U-19 star Stanis Idumbo Muzambo. Born on 29th June 2005 in the French town of Melun, but holding Belgian and DR Congo passports, the midfielder has penned a deal that will run until June 2028. 

After starting his career in the youth academies at Bruges and Gent, he signed for the AFC Ajax academy in the summer of 2021, aged 16. He quickly progressed from the U-17s to the U-19s, with whom he spent most of last season as they reached the final of the Dutch youth championships. He also made seven appearances in the UEFA Youth League, scoring three goals and assisting two. He also featured 12 times last season for Jong Ajax, the club's B team who compete in the Dutch second division.

This season, he has scored three times in 11 appearances for Jong Ajax, as well as representing Belgium at U-19 level. He has played for the national team at every previous youth level, including at the U17 European Championship finals in 2022
