Thursday evening saw the resumption of the Copa del Rey 2023/24 second round fixtures, thereby confirming the teams who will compete in the Round of 32. The four teams that will play in the Spanish Supercup next January will enter the draw at this stage, while all Tercera RFEF sides have now been eliminated. The draw will consist of five phases and, as usual, the teams from the lowest category -Arandina and Barbastro from the Segunda RFEF- will face two of the four teams in the Supercup, while the other two will visit a Primera RFEF side. The two teams from the third tier that remain in the draw will face one of the remaining 13 teams from LaLiga EA Sports, while nine of them will visit as many teams from LaLiga Hypermotion. The 16th matchup will pit the two remaining top-tier teams against each other, with the first team playing at home. Therefore, this leaves us with 25 possible opponents: four from Primera RFEF, nine from LaLiga Hypermotion and 12 from LaLiga EA Sports.

The draw will take place at 13:00 CET on Tuesday the 12th of December at the Ciudad del Fútbol de Las Rozas, only a few hours before our decisive Champions League match against Lens. As always, live coverage will be available on our Facebook and YouTube accounts. The Round of 32 matches will take place between the 5th and 7th of January. These are the remaining teams from the five pots:

Spanish Supercup (4):. FC Barcelona, Real Madrid, Atlético de Madrid and CA Osasuna.

LaLiga EA Sports (13):. Real Sociedad, Villarreal CF, Real Betis, Athletic Club, RCD Mallorca, Girona FC, Rayo Vallecano, Sevilla FC, RC Celta, Getafe CF, Valencia CF, UD Las Palmas and Deportivo Alavés.

LaLiga Hypermotion (9): RCD Espanyol, Elche CF, SD Eibar, FC Cartagena, CD Tenerife, Burgos CF, SD Huesca, Racing Club Ferrol and SD Amorebieta.

Primera RFEF (4): Málaga CF, CD Lugo, Unionistas de Salamanca and CD Castellón.

Segunda RFEF (2): Arandina CF and UD Barbastro.
