Change of plans compared to the match against AS Roma. Sevilla FC did not visit the MSV Arena in Duisburg on the eve of the quarter-final on Monday, where Lopetegui's team will return to play against Wolves after defeating the Italian team in the previous round. Although both the manager and Diego Carlos did attend the official press conference in Duisburg, the rest of the squad stayed in Dusseldorf, which will be the team's headquarters for the duration of their stay in Germany.

Training took place at the Paul-Janes-Stadionthe home of Fortuna Düsseldorf until 2005 and the current stadium for their reserve and academy sides. With a summer environment, the session began with a warm-up which was led by the coaching staff until Lopetegui and Diego Carlos arrived from Duisburg, thirty minutes away by road

If Sevilla do win and reach the semi finals, they will continue to train daily at the Paul-Janes-Stadion, with the semi final due to take place on Sunday in Cologne, which will also host the final, 40 kilometres to the south of Düsseldorf.
