Sevilla FC and UD Almería have come to an agreement over the loan of right-back Alejandro Pozo. Almería will have an option to buy the player after the one-year loan expires. Pozo joined the club in 2013/14 at only 14-years-old. He made his debut with Sevilla Atlético in the 2016/17 season. He played almost every game in his second season. After Sevilla Atlético were relegated, he joined Granada CF for a season on loan in 2018/19. Under Diego Martínez, he played 30 games in the second division, scoring four goals and providing one assist.

Pozo started 2019/20 with Sevilla as he played three games under Julen Lopetegui, in addition to the UEFA Europa League group stage in the year that Sevilla would lift the title in Cologne. In January, he was loaned to RCD Mallorca, where he scored a goal and gave two assists.

Last season, Pozo went on loan to SD Eibar where he played 30 games in La Liga. In total, he played 10 games for Sevilla. Sevilla thank Pozo for his dedication and effort during his time at the club and wish him the very best in his career.
