After comfortably securing progression to the last 16 of the Copa del Rey against Levante UD on Tuesday night, Sevilla FC will find out their next opponent on Friday at 13:00 CET, when the draw takes place at RFEF headquarters. The match will again be a single knockout match, and the tie will take place between Tuesday 28th January and Thursday 30th January, so just after the visit of Granada CF on Saturday.

The first sides to be drawn will be the only two remaining teams from the Second Division B, who will be paired up against teams from the First Division. This will then be repeated with the four remaining teams from the Second Division. These six matches will be played at the stadium from the lower-tier sides. Once all the lower-tier sides have been drawn, the four remaining First Division sides will face each other, with the side drawn first hosting the tie.

The 16 teams are as follows:

Second Division B sides (2): CD Badajoz and CyD Leonesa.

Second Division sides (4): Real Zaragoza, CD Tenerife, CD Mirandés and Rayo Vallecano.

First Division sides (10): CA Osasuna, Sevilla FC, FC Barcelona, Athletic Club, Granada CF, Villarreal CF, Valencia CF, Real Sociedad, Real Madrid and CD Leganés.
