Jesús Navas will not travel to Las Rozas for international duty with the Spanish national team. The club captain was forced off at half time during Saturday evening's match against CA Osasuna due to a knock, and was replaced by Ivan Rakitic.

Last night, just after the match against the side from Pamplona, the RFEF announced on social media that the man from Los Palacios would not form part of the Spain squad and has been replaced by Arsenal's Hector Bellerín. Spain have three matches during this international break, with a friendly against the Netherlands in Amsterdam preceding Nations League fixtures away at Switzerland and a home match against Germany at La Cartuja.

On Sunday morning, Argentina confirmed that Marcos Acuña would also miss out due to a muscular injury which he picked up in the first half. La Albiceleste have two qualifying matches to look forward to, against Paraguay and Peru. Lucas Ocampos is still in the squad for those matches.
