He had been waiting for this personal landmark since the end of last season, and it finally arrived during Saturday's win against RCD Espanyol. Jesús Navas set up Youssef En-Nesyri's opener, his 78th assist in LaLiga Santander, a figure that does not appear to be important at first glance. However, if you add his 22 Premier League assists during his time at Manchester City, it means he has now reached 100 top-flight assists during his career, in two of the world's biggest leagues. Navas is only the eighth player to reach that figure in the 21st century.

Navas joins the 100 assists club alongside Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, Dani Alves, Cesc Fábregas, David Silva, Wayne Rooney and Mesut Özil. It should be remembered that Navas holds the club's all-time appearance record, with 578, 421 of those coming in LaLiga Santander. He has scored 36 goals in total, with 26 in the league.

On the other hand, it was also a special afternoon for Ivan Rakitic, who, in terms of the current squad, only trails Navas for appearances, with the Croatian reaching 205 appearances. He too brought up a century, but in this case it was his 100th win as a Sevillista. 75 of those came in LaLiga Santander, with nine in the Copa del Rey, twelve in the UEFA Europa League and four in the UEFA Champions League. In fact, in terms of players who aren't from Spain, the midfielder is only the second European player in the club's history to reach 100 victories, with Rakitic only trailing the Frenchman Julien Escudé, who reached 128.
