Sevilla FC's manager Pablo Machín, appeared angry at the end of the match which ended in a defeat against Betis: 'After seeing the incident with Roque I am very surprised and upset. It's clearly a foul by the goalkeeper, and it could have been a penalty and even a red card and it would have changed the game completely in our favour.'

'They dominated for periods without creating clear-cut chances. We looked for opportunities when we could and the sending off stopped us from doing more in key moments,' he continued, referring to the decisive moment of the game.

About the development of the game in general, Machín commented, 'I think the players left it all out there on the pitch. We went to their home looking for chances but in this moment in the season, with a man down, it was difficult to do more than we managed to do.'
