Sevilla FC's French defender, Jules Koundé, analysed the hard-earned point yesterday at the Wanda: "It's not a bad result by any means, but we know that in the second half we didn't play as well as we could have as we didn't create many chances to win the game. We played well in the first half and had a lot of ambition to play a good match. In the second half, we lost our rhythm slightly. We're slightly disappointed because we could have played better in the second half".

The centre-back went on the speak about the first half: "We know it's not easy to win in this stadium, so it isn't a bad result. However, we always want to win and play well. In the second half we could have played better and created more opportunities".

On the other hand, he spoke about the importance of always being ready to play well: "I can't explain in right now, as they put a lot of pressure on us. We have to be able to play because we did so in the first half. We have to have a little more consistency in our play". Koundé also evaluated picking up a point away to a direct rival: "We're happy because they are our rivals and they're a solid team. We're going well though, and aware of the fact that four points out of six away to direct rivals is good".

He also spoke about the impact of VAR: "We don't know what's happening with the referees. It felt like we only played twenty minutes in the first half. Six minutes of added on time seemed insufficient, but we adapted ourselves to it". These sorts of stops don't help the flow to the game: "It's difficult but it's also our job to be concentrated the whole time. If you switch off then you are in trouble. We played well in the first half all things considered".

Finally, Jules spoke about the upcoming fixtures: "Yes of course they are two vital games. Firstly, Roma in the Europa League will be extremely difficult. We're sure that our fans will support us and help us to get a good result. Afterwards, we have another special game at home for our fans and our club".
