Koundé was delighted with his first goal in La Liga

After the victory over Getafe in the Coliseum, Koundé spoke to the cameras: "We're delighted with what we've done and we knew that it was going to be a hard game; but we were brave and united to get the win and keep a clean sheet".

Only the top two had won at the Coliseum this season: "It's not easy, every game is difficult and moreso on this pitch against a very good side. We believe a lot in ourselves, we played well and although it was a bit of an ugly game with long balls and not a huge amount of possession and passing, it was a great win".

In addition, he talked us through his goal: "I saw the space and Fernando played me in. I controlled it, shot and it went in the back of the net. I'm very happy because it's my first goal in La Liga and because what we did as a team". It's a win that should hopefully give the team a bit of a kickstart: "We were going through a bit of a rough spell, but we know what we're capable of whenever everyone plays well. We're delighted, but we know that when we win, not everything is perfect; and also that when we lose, not everything is bad. We're happy, but remaining calm".

To round off, he spoke about the league table: "Getafe are very good. They're a direct rival for the Champions League places and it's a good win because it puts us ahead of them".
