Jules Koundé was on the star performers as Sevilla FC reached another UEFA Europa League final. The defender, who started in the comeback win over Manchester United, firstly stated that he feels "a lot of joy to be in another final, we know it's very special and it was not easy at all. United are a good team with talented attackers, but we dug deep together and had the opportunity to score, something that makes us very happy".
The defender highlighted the huge efforts of the side to secure the win: "We've had a lot of work, we conceded more chances than normal but Bono has done a formidable job. We all ran our legs off to win this match". He also wanted to speak about the squad: "We have a very good team and we always thought we could be at this level. Now we have to win to have this cup".
Koundé, who also showed his desire to score in Friday's match, spoke about the happiness in the dressing room: "We celebrated with music and lots of smiles. It's a whole group, more than 15 or 16 players and each one is enjoying it in his own way, because now the most important bit is left".
