Sevilla FC's centre-midfielder, Joan Jordán, accompanied the manager Julen Lopetegui in the press conference before the second leg of the Europa League Round of 32 clash with CFR Cluj. The centre-midfielder started off by stating that: "It's a very important game, we either go through or go out. We're all excited for the game and the competition and I know the team are ready to compete tomorrow. It's going to be a tricky game, but we're ready to play".

"We know that our day-to-day work is good, that we're working hard and we have confidence. The result in Romania the other day gave us a bit of comfort and we gained a bit of confidence. Against Getafe we were excellent, but we still haven't achieved anything. We can't dwell on the past and neither with what might happen tomorrow".

Jordán continued: "The UEL is synonymous with Sevilla FC, and vice-versa. The fans value it as much as we do; but now we're focused on tomorrow's game. There is a long road ahead. We had chances to score more in the first leg, but it wasn't a bad result. We're ready to compete against and face a tough, dangerous side. We have to be alert throughout".

He finished off by responding to a question about him personally: "I came here full of excitement and a willingness to learn. You go through different stages throughout the season, but the most important thing is to always be ready when the manager needs you. Everyone has ups and downs".
