Joan Jordán offered his thoughts after the win over Real Valladolid"It's been a hard-fought win. I think we could have killed off the match but we didn't. We dug deep late on and we did so, we're a great side and we're happy with the three points. When you play away from home you know that they will put pressure on you at any moment. We had to dig deep but we rolled our sleeves up and got the win. We had clear chances to kill the match off on the counter but we were wayward with the chances".

The team continues to show a new identity: "I think the team has room for improvement, but we're competing at every ground. We're feeling very good, whoever plays does a good job. We have to continue like this".

"We will enjoy ourselves today, but it's back to work tomorrow because of our Europa League match on Thursday, we want to win that too, so now it's time to recover and prepare. We don't stop". The win means that Sevilla FC have best away in the record in the league this season: "It's good news. It should help to motivate us, it shouldn't make us feel too big. We have to continue to be humble. We've got a lot of talent on the ball but we have to run when we don't have it". The team are still in the Champions League spots, but the player stated that "our aim is winning the next match, you have to prepare for it in the best possible way". It's a long season and there's a long way to go yet".

Finally, he remembered his time as a Real Valladolid player: "I've got good memories and good friends here. Still, I'm more happy with the win".
