ESCUDERO: "WE'RE GOING TO GIVE IT EVERYTHING ON THURSDAY AND COME AWAY WITH A WIN"

"As well as on the footballing side of things, the personnel we have in the dressing room on the personal side, is spectacular"

Sevilla FC's left-back, Sergio Escudero was the guest on last night's edition of 'A Balón Parado'. On the show, Escudero showed his happiness at being a part of this club for five seasons: "It has become another part of my family. From the first moment I arrived, they treated me with respect, just like anyone else. I'm always thankful for these small details. It's become a huge part of my family".

The defender didn't hide his ambitions of lifting another Europa League: "I really want to feel that feeling again and lift another European trophy. I have a lot of ambition to win this trophy again. We're going to give it everything on Thursday and come away with a win".

Lastly, Escudero said that his confidence in the team has not wavered: "Because I'm there everyday, training with the boys, I know we can fight for everything. It's no longer about the great squad of footballers we have, but actually about how great they are as human beings". Furthermore, he emphasised the good atmosphere that there is in the dressing room: "As well as on the footballing side of things, the personnel we have in the dressing room on the personal side, is spectacular. There's no problems, as we all aim for the same things. This is the real success of the team, the union and togetherness we have within the dressing room".
