The prestigious consultancy Brand Finance has published this week their latest Brand Finance Football 50 report. The report displays the whirlwind in the footballing industry over the last few months with the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic and the attempted creation of a European Super League. These circumstances, however, have not seemed to impact the growth of the Sevilla FC brand.

The Nervionenses post their highest ranking since 2012, the first time they appeared amongst the top fifty. This is the fourth consecutive year the Club brand has grown after they moved from 50th in 2017 to 48th in 2018, 35th in 2019, 32nd in 2020, and now 23rd in 2021. Real Madrid and FC Barcelona occupy the first two spots in the table, with Sevilla FC the fourth highest valued Spanish club. Ahead of them, they have Atlético Madrid in 13th place. Valencia CF (34th), Athletic Club (43rd) and Villarreal CF (44th) complete a list of seven Spanish clubs in the list. They make up 20% of the total value of the ranking, only beaten by England's 43%.

The data speak well of Sevilla FC, who are the only Spanish club to see their brand value grow in this incredibly complicated year. They have grown 12%, the fifth highest growth amongst the top fifty brands. This confirms the Club's intention to consolidate itself amongst the elite both on a sporting level, as they begin to appear more regularly in the UEFA Champions League, and on an institutional level as they develop an ambitious strategic plan to boost the Sevilla FC brand around the world.
