Wissam Ben Yedder was interviewed after Sunday's draw against SD Eibar. The French striker, who started the comeback with his goal, began by saying that 'it was a game of two halves. We found it difficult in the second one, it was tough but we showed at the end we were capable of getting the goals. We have to keep improving to get our confidence back.'

He also stated 'we could have won in the final minutes. Everything depends on us - if we're a team we can win.' Furthermore, he was happy with the team's effort playing a man down: 'Football is decided by small details and we saw today how complicated it can be, the result was positive in the end, especially considering the sending off.'

Ben Yedder didn't hide his happiness with his latest goal: 'I'm happy to score again. At the end of the game, we thought we could have won, the team never gives up.' Despite this optimism, the French striker is already thinking about Thursday's clash with Lazio in the Europa League: 'We have to focus on the next game and put in our best performance away from home so we have it easier back at the Sánchez-Pizjuán.'
