This Thursday the Stadium Tour had an additional exhibition on display - a zone dedicated to club legend Juan Arza. 2023 marks the centenary of his birth.

Born in 1923, Juan Arza joined us in 1943 and was part of Patrick O'Connell's squad that came runner-up in the league. The golden boy was the leader of a great period for the club, winning our only league title, in the 1945-46 season, and a Copa de España in 1948. We were also league runner-ups in 1951 and 1957.

Also, Arza is the only Sevilla player to have won the Pichichi Trophy, given to the top goalscorer in the league (1955). He played for us for 16 years and later became our first team head coach. In his final years, he was also an honorary centenary president and is part of the club Hall of Fame.
