SEVILLA FC PRESENT AT THE SECOND EDITION OF THE AFE AWARDS

Sevilla FC were present at the second edition of the AFE Awards. The Real Casino de Madrid hosted the gala organised by the 'Asociación de Futbolistas Españoles' (AFE), the Spanish footballers' association, to award the best players during the 2022/23 season.

The event saw the Spain women's national football team awarded the 'Premio a la Trayectoria Deportiva', the prize for best sporting development, having won the World Cup in Australia and New Zealand. World-Cup winning midfielder Maria Pérez was present, as well as Pamela González, who was given the title of last season's best player in the Primera Federación FUTFEM. Amanda Sampedro, who is a member of the AFE, also attended the event.

Some familiar faces were to be seen at the event in Madrid, such as former Sevilla player María Bores, having played an important role in Real Madrid's reserve side. Dragiša Gudelj, Nemanja Gudelj's brother, and Rodrigo Ríos were also present having had significant impact at Córdoba CF and AD Ceuta respectively.
