WE WILL FACE RACING CLUB FERROL IN THE COPA DEL REY ROUND OF 32

We have been drawn against Racing Club Ferrol, from LaLiga Hypermotion, for the Copa del Rey Round of 32. The match will be played at the A Malata Stadium in Ferrol. This fixture is a replay of the 1938/39 final, in which we won 6-2 at the old Montjuïc Stadium in Barcelona. This will be the first time we face them in the cup since then.

While the tie has broadly been scheduled for the weekend of January 6/7th, it is expected to take place on Sunday 7th, as we face Athletic Bilbao in LaLiga on Thursday January 4th. Our opponent, recently promoted to the second division and in sixth place after 19 games, currently sit in the play-off positions for promotion to LaLiga. They have so far beaten Marbella FC, winning 3-1 in extra time, and CD Leganés 1-0.
