Isaac Romero, Óliver Torres and Sergio Ramos all spoke to the club media after beating Atlético de Madrid 1-0. The match-winner was clearly delighted both with his and the team's performance, revealing that "I always try to help the team in any way I can. We've always stuck together and fortunately I managed to squeeze the ball into the back of the net today. But the most important thing is that we hace picked up three points. We have been working hard without getting the results. But things are looking a little better now and we've shown that we can compete with anyone. You always dream of pleasing the fans here at the Sánchez-Pizjuán and I can only thank them. They know that I gave everything today."

Óliver Torres expressed his relief at "securing back-to-back victories" and "winning at home." He mentioned that "the fans were incredible, we are so grateful. Playing against a tough team like Atlético de Madrid, you know that they are going to create chances. But we had ours too and we played really well. The important thing is that we won."

"You always have to stay positive and keep believing that the results are on the way. We desperately needed a victory and it's so much sweeter being able to celebrate it with the fans. Hopefully this is the start of a good run of form for us. This is the way to keep improving and keep the points ticking over, which will give us a bit of breathing space from the relegation zone. This was definitely our best match of the season against tough opposition. Today the little details all fell in our favour," said a satisfied Sergio Ramos. Finally, Badé admitted that "it was a really tough battle, but together we worked hard to make sure of the victory. For periods of the game we found ourselves under pressure, but the fans spurred us on until the final whistle."
