An own goal by Darío and a late strike by Santi Jara gave RB Linense a 2-0 win against 10-man Sevilla Atlético
Cuerpo Superior

Following three consecutive victories, Sevilla Atlético's winning streak came to an end with a 2-0 loss against RB Linense. Luck was not on their side unfortunately, with Darío scoring an own goal and Xavi Sintes being sent off during the first half. Despite being a man down, Jesús Galván's side looked for an equaliser during the second half, but Santi Jara's late goal made sure of the result.

The first half didn't see many chances fall to either side, who both sought to dominate possession. The home side took the lead courtesy of a Darío own goal, which came following Matías's attempted clearance. In pursuit of a first-half equaliser, Isaac came closest for Sevilla Atlético, but his powerful effort was pushed away for a corner by the opposition goalkeeper. As half time approached, Xavi Sintes was shown a straight red for the denial of a clear goal-scoring opportunity. He brought Fran Carbia down as he approached Matías in the Sevilla Atlético net.

Lulo and Isaac looked for the equaliser with long-range efforts

With a comeback now looking significantly more difficult for Sevilla Atlético, Galván made a double substitution at the start of the second half to reorganise the team. Lulo and Isaac looked for the equaliser with long-range efforts that Facundo saved well. Musa also had an effort denied by the home side's keeper. With only five minutes left on the clock, Santi Jara secured the victory for RB Linense, scoring from a free kick.

Following Xavi Sintes's red card, the reserves faced an uphill battle, and the winning streak came to an end. However they stay in second place of the Segunda RFEF ahead of a home match against Racing Cartagena Mar Menor.
