The incredible international growth of the Sevilla FC brand continues to go from strength to strength as the season goes on. Following on from impressive stats during the 2022/23 season, LaLiga has recently announced that out of the clubs involved in the 'LaLiga Impulso', Sevilla had the largest global presence during the month of September. We accumulated 77 brand activations, only rivalled by Atlético Madrid with 72; Valencia CF were third with 26 activations.

This is a clear illustration of the success that the strategic globalisation plan is having. The success is largely credited to the efforts in producing localised digital content, support from local agencies, strategic global partners, effective advertising campaigns, and brand activations, as mentioned above.

September saw the club producing and showing a documentary in Morocco, showcasing Bono and En-Nesyri's experiences during last year's impressive Europa League-winning season. The club also had representatives present at two of the most important conferences in football - the Thinking Football Summit in Portugal and the Sports Summit Leaders in Buenos Aires. These provided excellent opportunities to explain our business model and discuss our use of technology. The pre-season tour in Mexico and the United States is proving fruitful. Working with influencers, local media companies and fans saw more than 30 brand activations and even the founding of a new supporters club in Detroit.

In the first few months of the 2023-24 season, the social media following of Sevilla FC has grown by 25%, consolidating its position as the fourth most followed club in Spain. This trend includes notable growth in overseas markets: 11% in China, 14% in the United States, 65% in the Middle East and North Africa, and 54% in India.

Equally, the start of this season has seen a 10% rise in the number of profiles registered on the club database, again with clear international growth. Last season was also a record-breaking season for the club, reaching a television audience of more than 200 million people, a 60% increase from the season before. Equally significant was the 30% growth in regional overseas sponsorship deals secured by the club during the 2022-23 campaign. Overall, this has led to Sevilla FC reaffirming itself as the club with the third highest international growth in the world.
