Banega joined the side for Lopetegui's team talk, but went to the gym without touching the ball

Another week with two Sevilla FC fixtures. After Saturday's draw with Atlético de Madrid in Nervión and a day off on Sunday, the side returned to training at the Estadio Jesús Navas on a cloudy Monday morning. Both Sergi Gómez and Sergio Escudero trained with the squad, showing their recoveries are nearly complete. There was a strong academy presence in the session, and the UEL ball was used.

Éver Banega could also be seen, after he went off with a knock to his ankle on Saturday. He took to the field for Lopetegui's team talk but trained separately in the gym. The squad will train tomorrow morning, and again on Wednesday before heading straight to Luxembourg to face F91 Dudelange. That match kicks off at 18:55 on Thursday.
