Quincy Promes was a substitute in Holland's 2-0 win against France in Rotterdam, being brought on in the 86th minute by Koeman to replace Bergwijn. The Sevilla player saw his side's second goal on the pitch, as Depay converted a penalty in the 96th minute, at the end of injury time. The Oranje now only need a draw in Gelsenkirchen against Germany (already relegated) next Monday 19 at 20:45 CET to reach the final four.

On the other hand, Vaclík did not play in the Czech Republic's friendly against Poland in Gdańsk, while Franco Vázquez and Mercado were in action against México, the first of two friendly matches that they will play in the coming days.
