The Sports Data Forum is back for another year. Sport Data Campus, the Universidad Católica San Antonio de Murcia and Sevilla FC, through its Innovation Center, have been working for months to organise this third edition, with the collaboration of Big Data International Campus, Football Data International Forum and Eniit Innova IT Business School and the main sponsorship of the Hudl company. As in previous years, the format will be mixed, alternating face-to-face and online sessions, although the entire event will be broadcast via streaming.
The opening will take place at the Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán Stadium on 24 March with an on-site session that will include a welcome speech by Víctor Orta, sporting director of Leeds United. This will be followed by various presentations and round tables on topics such as professional analysis of the game or the latest trends in Big Data and Artificial Intelligence applied to football, to end the day with a closing keynote session by Ramón Rodríguez Verdejo, general sporting director of Sevilla FC.
The event will continue over a number of different days and weeks until it ends definitively on 19 June. By then, topics such as Big Data and Sports Management, AI applied to Sport, Digital Transformation and Innovation in Football Clubs, Data Ecosystem in Women's Football, Big Data and Basketball, Big Data and Handball, Technological Entrepreneurship in the World of Sport and Elite Professional Analysts will have been addressed.
Including specific sessions in English and Portuguese as well as a day dedicated to students. In all these sessions, professionals from the club will take the initiative and present their experience and knowledge at the service of the students.
