SORIA: "I'VE BEEN WORKING FOR THREE MONTHS TO GET MY OPPORTUNITY"

The keeper assured the press he is "enjoying himself" following his return to the field after three months of absence. He said he wants to "work even more" now Montella has given him a chance

David Soria spoke to the media this Thursday, as well as visiting kids from the CEIP Oromona School in Seville. The keeper said he "enjoyed the match a bit on a personal level" when talking about playing a full 90 minutes against Bayern. He admitted: "Starting took me a bit by surprise. I have been working for three months to get that opportunity. He told me the day before, asked me if I was ready and of course I said yes".

"Starting is important at any moment in the season but it's a plus when thinking about the season to come. If the boss decides to give me a run, I'll take advantage of it and show I can be a regular going forward".
