SIXTH ANNIVERSARY OF THE FOURTH EUROPA LEAGUE AGAINST DNIPRO

On this day six years ago, José Antonio Reyes came up with, perhaps, the pass of his career to set up another night for the memory. In the National Stadium in Warsaw, Sevilla FC won their fourth UEFA Europa League, a year after Turin and a year before the Club would go on to win a fifth. The win in Warsaw saw Sevilla become the club with the most Europa League wins and they would only extend that against Liverpool in Switzerland and Inter Milan in Cologne.

Sevilla's path saw them overcome Borussia Mönchengladbach in the round of 32, Villarreal in the last-16, Zenit in the quarter-finals and Fiorentina in the semi-finals. That booked them a ticket to Poland to play, and win, another European final. In the capital of his home country, Krychowiak brought joy to Nervión after Kalinic opened the scoring for Dnipro.

And then the magic came. Although Rotan would equalise through a direct free-kick, Sevilla fans were in no doubt that a third would come and it did from Carlos Bacca who completed a brace on the night. Nothing, absolutely nothing, would tarnish the assist that José Antonio Reyes came up with for the second goal, Bacca's first. From the centre of the pitch, the eternal legend played the ball beyond five players and left Bacca one-on-one with Boyko. It was The Pass. Any Sevilla fan will know what you're talking about if you mention those two words.

Club captain José Antonio Reyes, who else, lifted the trophy and Sevilla painted Europe white and red once more as they won two consecutive Europa Leagues for the second time in their history, and little did they know that another one would come the year after.
