Sevilla record sixth-highest average attendance in LaLiga this season

The Spanish television channel, Gol, has announced that the broadcasting of Sevilla's game against Real Sociedad on Friday night was momentus in their coverage of LaLiga.

The rights holders for open LFP broadcasts revealed that over a million viewers watched the match at 7% of the share, meaning that 7% of all televisions turned on in Spain were tuned into the fixture.

Meanwhile, a study by the Deportes&Finanzas website has revealed Sevilla have the sixth-highest average attendance in LaLiga this season, a figure that stands at 33,454 with one home game remaining.

Barcelona lead the way in the list, ahead of Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid, Athletic Club and Valencia respectively - all of which have bigger capacities than Sevilla's Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán.

Sevilla Atlético have recorded the seventh-highest attendance in Spain's second division with 4,000, behind Reus, Murcia, Huesca, Lugo, Mirandés, Numancia and Alcorcón in LaLiga 1|2|3.
