Sevilla FC head to the October international break with an outstanding record of seven wins, three draws and just one loss in 11 official matches. The side sits first in Champions League Group E and second in La Liga, after Atlético Madrid's draw with Leganés this Saturday.

In the league Sevilla FC have managed five wins, keeping clean-sheets in all five. Eduardo Berizzo's side has clearly consolidated itself high in the table on the basis of defensive solidity, having conceded just three goals - giving them the second best defensive record in the league.

What's more, Sevilla have picked up 16 points: two more than last season and the same number as in 2014/15 when the side picked up its record points tally in league competition. The season has only just begun but the numbers from the first month and a half of competition make some very good reading for Eduardo Berizzo's side, and seem to suggest the team is on the right track.
