SEVILLA FC WILL PLAY IN THE AKHISAR STADYUMU, A STADIUM LESS THAN ONE YEAR OLD

Sevilla FC will play the fourth matchday of the UEFA Europa League group stage in Turkey against Akhisarspor on Thursday evening. The match will be played at the Toto Spor of Akhisar or Akhisar Stadyumu (as it is named in European competitions), a charming stadium in the heart of the province of Anatolia and which is less than a year old, only being inaugurated on 28 January this year.

Akhisarspor used to have to play their matches in the neighbouring city, Manisa, given their stadium's capacity was not sufficient to host Turkish league games when they were promoted in 2013. Five years later they have their own home to play in, the Akhisar Stadyumu with a capacity of 12,139.
