For their next respective fixtures, the players of Sevilla Atlético (playing on Saturday in Alcorcón), Sevilla FC (playing at the Cerámica Stadium on Sunday) and Sevilla FC Ladies (playing next week against Atlético Madrid) will go out onto the pitch sporting an armband with the numbers 016 - the number authorised by the Ministry of Health, Social and Inequality Services and the Government Delegation for the Gender Violence, in support of victims who have suffered gender-based violence.

This initiative is part of the campaign launched by the Sevilla FC foundation to increase awareness of gender-based violence to mark the international day against gendered violence on Sunday the 25th of November. The campaign comes with a fitting slogan: #UnaSociedadSinMaltrato (A society without abuse).

This Friday, Ricardo Gil-Toresano, a representative from the Andalucian Government, gave the players their armbands following training and was later photographed alongside the Sevilla FC squad, the Sevilla FC Ladies and Chairman José Castro.
