Sevilla FC have arrived in Vitoria this Monday and are now looking ahead to the league encounter against Alavés at 20.45 at the Mendizorroza Stadium, a ground at which they haven't won since a goal from Javi Casquero earned a win 01/02. Sevilla are going back to Vitoria for the first time in ten years, the amount of time the Basque side have spent out of the top flight since their relegation in 05/06.

Travelling with the team were the president José Castro, the second vice president Gabriel Ramos and the directors Ramón Somalo and Faustino Valdés. The sporting director, Ramón Rodríguez Verdejo, Monchi, is also accompanying the group led by Jorge Sampaoli.

Sevilla FC will be playing in white due to Alavés wearing the colours of their local basketball team, Baskonia (red and dark blue) instead of their usual colours.
