SEVEN SEVILLISTAS ON INTERNATIONAL DUTY

The players will feature in UEFA Nations League matches and European U-21 qualifiers

With the first team squad enjoying their end-of-season holiday after winning the UEFA Europa League for the sixth time in Cologne, some players will have to cut their holidays short to prepare for international matches. Eight players have been called up for international duty, and they are as follows: Jesús Navas, new signing Óscar Rodríguez, Vaclík, Gudelj, Koundé, Pozo and De Jong

The first international match involving a Sevillista will take place on Thursday 3rd September, for both Spain and SerbiaJesús Navas and Óscar Rodríguez will be in Stuttgart for their UEFA Nations League A match against Germany, before hosting Ukraine three days later in the same tournament. Nemanja Gudelj's Serbia, on the same dates, face a trip to Moscow to face Russia before welcoming Turkey in the UEFA Nations League B. 

The other four Sevillistas will play their matches on Friday and Monday, 4th and 7th SeptemberVaclík is also in UEFA Nations League B matches, facing Slovakia in Bratislava before a match against Scotland in Olomouc. Luuk de Jong will also feature in the Netherlands' matches against Poland and Italy in UEFA Nations League A. 

Jules Koundé has been called up for the France U21 squad, and will face Georgia and Azerbaijan in the European U-21 Championship qualifiers. Finally, Alejandro Pozo is in the Spain U21 squad for their match against Macedonia in Skopje on Thursday 3rd September.
