Sevilla FC and Paris Saint-Germain have reached an agreement for the transfer of goalkeeper Sergio Rico to the Parisian side, after his season-long loan there last season. The man from Montequinto joined Sevilla FC at the U10 level and made his debut on 14th September 2014 against Getafe in Nervión. He has played 15,229 minutes as a Sevillista in his 170 official matches.

The academy graduate won the UEFA Europa League twice as a Sevillista, playing in the 2015 Final against FC Dnipro, and was on the bench against Liverpool FC in 2016. He also made his international debut in 2016 with Spain.

Sevilla FC wishes Rico the very best of luck in Paris, where last season he won Ligue 1, the French Cup and the French League Cup, as well as reaching the UEFA Champions League Final.
