It was at the 84th minute mark when it came. Sevilla FC were eventual 3-1 winners over GNK Dinamo Zagreb in the first leg of our last sixteen tie in the UEFA Europa League. The noise inside the Sánchez-Pizjuán was as deafening as ever. However, on this occasion it wasn't the loud roars heard at the start of games, nor the cheer of a celebrated goal but something much better. It was something that showed the pure value of a footballer, the admiration of all the fans for one of their own, Jesús Navas. After many weeks injured, the main man was back, in his stadium, his home. The fans took to their feet and applauded as if it was his debut. Back as captain and reaching yet another milestone.

Walking out on the pitch against the Croatians, Navas achieved his 300th victory in a Sevilla FC shirt. Three hundred victories since he made his debut back in the 2003/04 campaign, making him the only player in the club's history to have achieved this feat, separating himself from the crowd. Arza is the player that comes the closest (203), however Navas is still almost one hundred victories in front. Busto being the third on the list. It is worth noting that Sevilla's number 16, along with Koke of Atlético de Madrid and former Deportivo de la Coruña Fran, is the only other player to achieve the landmark without having played for Real Madrid or Barcelona.

In total, Navas has 330 victories under his belt in 587 official appearances, with 118 draw and 169 defeats, with win percentage of over 50% and an outstanding 71% of games unbeaten. To break it all down, the man from the Palacios has racked up 211 wins in the league, 37 in the Copa del Rey (2 Copas), 31 in the UEFA Europa League (3 Europa Leagues), 17 in the Champions League, 3 in the Spanish Supercopa (1 Supercopa) and 1 in the European Super cup (1 super cup). In those 587, the Sevilla captain has registered 39 goals and 111 assists. Jesús Navas is back; with smiles on both his and the fans' faces, as if it were fait, the fans saw him return to his right wing position, the same position in which he played in his first outing at the Sánchez-Pizjuán.
