SÁNCHEZ FLORES: "THEY WERE BETTER THAN US IN EVERY DEPARTMENT"

Head coach Quique Sánchez Flores reflected on the defeat against RC Celta: "We predicted that they would be fired up for the game. They were better than us, more alert, more creative, first to loose balls, stronger marking.... we responded and could have scored a second but ultimately it didn't happen."

"It's easy to be negative but issues we saw today have been going on for a while. Fundamentally, we need to stick together. Inidividual decisions cost us today," Quique continued.

"The foundations are always the same. Everyone has the same opportunity to impress and earn a place in the team. I'm not one for public explanations. Everything will be resolved internally," he rounded off on tensions after Youssef En-Nesyri was substitued in the second half.
