Sevilla FC manager Jorge Samapaoli spoke with the media ahead of tomorrow's league match against Rayo Vallecano, match day twenty-one in LaLiga. The Argentine started off by pointing out that "we still don't know what the travelling squad looks like for the trip to Vallecas. Today is important and will tell all. 48 hours have passed since we last competed and we will see how the squad shapes up. We are going to try to put together the best team possible, despite the players missing through suspension. We only have one centre-back available. In relation to Badé, we are waiting for the medical report to tell us how long he will be out for. We have to fix the problems that are occurring, I am learning a lot about that here".

"Rayo have consolidated their place in LaLiga, they are regulars and put up a fight, no matter who they face. It is going to be very complicated for us, just as it is for them", continued Sampaoli.

Regarding En-Nesyri's good form, the boss said that "En-Nesyri is finding the right spaces at the right time like other players such as Acuña, Navas and Suso, which is resulting in good link-up play between them and a lot more efficiency. He is giving it his all, not only to get his name on the scoresheet, but pressing from the front as well".

"We will have to be prepared for tomorrow in order to perform the same as we did against PSV"

"It is crucial that the front line impose themselves in the opposition's box in order to win games. Because we are attacking so well and with a lot of variation in our play, we are seeming more like a team capable of causing problems for our opponents. We will have to be prepared for tomorrow in order to perform the same as we did against PSV and to also make sure that their chances are limited", highlighted Samapaoli.

Samapaoli concluded by touching on Alex Telles and Rafa Mir: "Alex Telles has to be there. I don't know if he can, but he has to be there. There are times when the process of recovery is sped up. He has to contribute. Rafa, on the other hand, finds himself in a different condition. He is very capable striker. If he was a defender, for sure he would be playing tomorrow. We are overwhelmed with players in too few positions. He is training well and I don't doubt he is going to help us out when the time comes".
