Sevilla FC's left-back, Sergio Reguilón, spoke to the media after the draw in the capital: "I thought it was going in but Oblak saved it with a great stop, but fortunately it ended up with us getting a penalty anyway".

The left-back was positive in his assessment: "We have to look back over this game in a positive manner because we competed very well. At the end of the day, we didn't pick up all three points. Our focus has already turned to Thursday now".

On the other hand, Reguilón spoke about the influence of VAR on the game: "It's slightly off-putting when it takes a long time to come to the decisions - it's the uncertainty. There's a lot of tension in the air". For the defender, the team did well to get themselves back into the game: "This team are finding themselves mentally again; we're on an upwards curve in the business end of the season. We have to continue like this because we're working very hard".

"The feeling in the changing room is that we could have won the game. There's no doubt that it was an open game, with there not being much football played in the second half. We picked up a point at a difficult ground, and we have to do even better next weekend. Now, however, the most important thing is Thursday's match; in our home, with our fans in another battle".

Finally, he spoke about the upcoming fixture: "We need the extra boost that our fans give us at home. I've heard a lot about the special European nights at home and I want them to return this week. We hope we feel the warmth of our fans from the first minute".
