Sevilla FC have been drawn to face PSV Eindhoven in the UEFA Europa League knockout round play-off.

The tie marks a special return for us to both Eindhoven and the PSV Stadion, where we won our first UEFA Cup title on 10th May 2006 with a 4-0 win against Middlesbrough FC.

The match will also see the return of Luuk de Jong, the hero of the sixth Europa League success story, to the Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán.

The first leg will take place on Thursday 16th February at the Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán, with the return leg in the Netherlands taking place a week later.

PSV are currently the leaders of the Eredivisie, leading Ajax by two points, albeit having played a game more. They finished second in their Europa League group, which consisted of Arsenal, Bodo/Glimt and Zurich.

Aside from the UEFA Cup final, this will be our second official visit to the Netherlands, the first coming eight years ago against Feyenoord, where the team were beaten 2-0 in the Europa League Group Stage.

The team have also faced AZ Alkmaar in official competition, and, in fact, they were the first team to defeat Sevilla at the Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán, back in the UEFA Cup Group Stage in 2006. However, owing to the format of the tournament at the time, there was no return match in Alkmaar.
