CUP CAMPAIGN COMMENCES AT CD QUINTANAR

Diego Alonso has taken a 19-strong squad to face CD Quintanar, who play in the Spanish sixth tier.

CD Quintanar will host Sevilla FC in the first round of the Copa del Rey at the Alfonso Viller García stadium in Quintanar de la Orden, in the province of Toledo. Kick-off is scheduled for 15:30 CET.

Background:

CD Quintanar were founded in 1998 and currently sit in seventh position in the sixth tier of Spanish football.

Qualification:

CD Quintanar will play in the Copa del Rey for the first time in their history after a 1-0 victory over Unión Zona Norte in qualifying.

The squad is as follows: Nyland, Alberto Flores, Matías, Juanlu, Darío, Gattoni, Badé, Kike Salas, Nianzou, Pedrosa, Fernando, Manu Bueno, Joan Jordán, Óliver Torres, Januzaj, Lamela, En-Nesyri, Rafa Mir and Isra Domínguez.

The fixture will be overseen by referee Juan Martínez Munuera and there will be no VAR.
