There are only three matches between Sevilla FC and another final. After eliminating Ciudad de Lucena, Linares Deportivo, CD Leganés and Valencia CF, Julen Lopetegui's team are looking for a ticket to the Copa del Rey semi finals, the first round of the Cup that is played over two legs. Sevilla open up an exciting Cup quarter finals this Tuesday against the only non La Liga team left in the tournament. To do so, Almería have had to knock out two La Liga teams: Deportivo Alavés and CA Osasuna.

Sevilla coach Julen Lopetegui made it clear that no one was focusing on what division Almería belonged to; they were focusing on the great performances the Second Division side were putting in this season to be amongst the last eight in the tournament. The Portuguese manager José Gomes has all of his players available although Serbian centre-back Maras has just recovered from an injury and is therefore a doubt. Gomes has been rotating his squad in recent weeks, allowing the team to keep fighting for promotion to La Liga while also reserving strength for their Cup campaign.

Sevilla FC is the only team left in the tournament that has not conceded a goal

Lopetegui does have injury doubts, most notably Argentinean left-back Marcos Acuña who was confirmed to have a serious injury. Julen praised the opponents and said they could 'easily be in La Liga.' Sevilla will be wanting to keep their magnificent  form up. A win today would be the sixth in a row, the first time in over five years the team has been on such a long winning streak. The Nervionenses are also the only team left in the Cup who have not conceded a goal in the tournament.

The match will be refereed by Xavier Estrada Fernández after Guillermo Cuadra Fernández had to pull out. The match will be played at the Estadio de Los Juegos del Mediterráneo, the first time Sevilla have played at the stadium since 11 January 2015 when Iborra and Coke sealed a 2-0 win.
