THE YELLOW CARD AWARDED TO OCAMPOS AT THE MESTALLA HAS BEEN RESCINDED

The Competition Committee has responded to allegations put forward by Sevilla FC that the yellow card awarded to Lucas Ocampos at the Mestalla against Valencia CF should be rescinded. According to referee Carlos del Cerro Grande, player (5) Ocampos, Lucas Ariel was booked for the following reason: bringing down an opposing player while challenging for the ball, stopping a promising attack. 

However, after the club's Legal Team were able to show the images, and what can be deduced from them, it is that Gayá fell and Ocampos could do nothing to avoid the collision. His fourth booking of the cycle has been rescinded, so the Argentine international now has three.
