After making his debut in Friday's match against Real Valladolid on the back of just one training session, Tanguy Nianzou was today officially unveiled as a Sevillista.

The defender is happily settling into his new club and was impressed by the fans' welcome on Friday night.

"I'm feeling very good, I've settled into the group and I was surprised by the reception from the fans, it was exceptional."

"I'm fortunate to be able to continue growing and progressing. We see a lot of young players nowadays and being here is a way to progress and improve my game."

"Rekik speaks French and he helped me to adapt during the game"

Despite not speaking Spanish, the Frenchman said that both Lopetegui and Rekik have been particularly helpful early on.

"I've had good communication with the coach since day one. He's asked me to be calm and to play as usual."

"Rekik speaks French and he helped me to adapt during the game. I'm very lucky."

"My main reason for being here is to progress and win lots of titles"

Nianzou then spoke about his positions on the pitch and growing as a player.

"There are great players in the team, if I can contribute then that'll be very positive. Maybe freshness and youth. I have to try to be myself and improve as much as possible. My main reason for being here is to progress and win lots of titles with this great club."

"When I was younger I trained as a centre-back, I'm used to playing there but I played as a midfielder in my first year at PSG. I'm young and I can adapt, but my preferred position is centre-back."

"If I get called up by France it would be a great reward"

The youngster also discussed another goal of his, which is to reach the national team. He will be competing for a place in that team with Jules Koundé.

"If I get called up by France it would be a great reward. I'll be very happy if that day comes. I have to try really hard in training and in matches and I hope to make the most of the opportunity."

"Right now I'm focused on Sevilla, on playing lots of matches and gaining experience."

"Koundé had a great career here and now I have to show how I can play and what level I'm at. I have to focus on myself to keep improving."
