The sporting management structure behind the scenes here at Sevilla FC, lead by Óscar Arias, is already looking well established ahead of the 2017/18 campaign, which gets going on Saturday the 1st of July. Arias has opted for continuity in positions with the greatest responsibility, keeping Ramón Vázquez as technical director of recruiting talent and promoting first team analyst Jesús Olivera to general coordinator of sporting administration, as well as head of New Technology. In Arias' former role, that of head of top-level footballEmilio de Dios will take charge, who up until last season was sporting director of CD Lugo and previously at Real Sporting de Gijón from 2006 to 2012.

Amongst the senior scouts, José Luis Ruda, José Manuel Santos and Fermín Galeote will continue their roles, as well as incorporating Marcos Sequeiros, who will also be charged with liaising with the Sevilla Atlético technical team. Sequeiros' career coincided with that of Luis García Tevenet, head coach of the youth team, in the youth ranks of the club and also at certain professional sides. Arturo González, Alejandro Pérez, Luis del Ojo and Jorge Pulido will all continue as scouts.

The structure will be completed in the coming weeks, with some new additions.
