NAVAS: 'WE WORE THEM DOWN IN THE SECOND HALF AND THE GOALS CAME'

Jesús Navas returned to the starting lineup after recovering from his injury and made it clear that he was satisfied after the win against Girona: 'We're very happy. It was a difficult match against an opponent that makes things tough. We had our chances in the first half and we continued to push, we wore them down and then the goals came. We knew that the goals would come with that intensity and we found a way.'

The summary of the season so far could not be any more positive: 'We're all enjoying it and the team are up there in the table. Now we'll celebrate this victory and think about Leganés.'
