Pablo Machín was satisfied after the win and getting through to the round of 32 of the Europa League against Krasnodar: 'We got the job done and it's true that the match may have appeared more straightforward because of how it went and how we played. They showed that they're a good team who were not top of the group by chance. Especially after the second goal, they showed that they have quality and can be dangerous, but we played a very focused and intense game in order to make the game go the way it did. Ben Yedder's quality made things a bit easier for us.'

The team started off focused and executed the gameplan perfectly: 'Our plan was clear, to go out with high intensity from the first minute, without leaving anything in the tank and with that desire to get the win. The chances that we got were the result of that intensity and made the match easier for us because going 2-0 up early calmed everything down and the third goal and the sending-off at the start of the second half were key.' In the end, Nervión once again proved decisive: 'With the amazing fans we're a much stronger team and we know how to get the best out of each other. We have to be analytical and even a little bit critical to evaluate everything in more detail, although we competed well everywhere we've played. It's difficult to do that, especially in Europe, but we'll try to keep going and get as far as we can.'

Speaking of Navas' return, he admitted that 'under different circumstances, he could have played a bit more, but we were careful with those 20-25 minutes. We'll have him in even better shape for Sunday's match.' A match that will also be special for the Soria- born manager: 'Wehn you're a professional these matches come along and hopefully it' will many more times. I've had two teams and playing against Numancia was a special day. This will, without doubt, be special too, but let there be no doubt in anyone's mind that I'm desperate to get a win in our last home match of the year.'
