Luuk de Jong offered his thoughts on Saturday's draw at the Wanda Metropolitano: "It was a very difficult match, away from home and against Atlético de Madrid. There were lots of long balls. The whole team worked well and we got a point".

Luuk was very happy with scoring the opening goal: "I liked Joan's pass, and my first touch was good. It was at a very difficult moment in the match. After Atlético's two goals, they made it difficult for us. The penalty from Ocampos came at a good time for us".
